Introduction
Kreate DXB ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use our website and services. Kreate DXB is a Dubai-based company helping entrepreneurs and small influencers grow their personal brands through video creation, content strategy, and podcast editing. We abide by applicable data protection laws, and we aim to be transparent about our practices.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal information from you just by your visiting our website. The only personal data we collect is information that you choose to provide directly, for example when you book a meeting with us via our embedded Calendly scheduling form. We do not use any cookies or tracking technologies on our site to collect personal data.
When you schedule a consultation through our Calendly form, you may be asked to provide certain details, including:
Name – your full name, so we know who we will be meeting.
Email Address – used to send you a confirmation and details about the meeting.
Background Information (Optional) – a brief description of your brand, goals, or any relevant details you choose to share, which helps us tailor our discussion to your needs.
Apart from the Calendly booking form, our website does not have any other forms or mechanisms to collect your personal information. If you contact us directly (for example, via email or phone), we will receive the personal information you provide in that communication and will handle it consistent with this Policy.
Use of Data
We use the personal information you provide solely for the purpose of scheduling and preparing for your meeting or providing our services to you. Specifically, this means:
Scheduling the requested appointment and sending you necessary information (e.g., confirmation emails or calendar invites).
Reviewing any background details you provided to ensure our meeting or service is as productive and personalized as possible.
If you become a client, using your contact information to communicate with you about project deliverables, updates, and ongoing services.
We do not use your information for any marketing or unsolicited communications, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own use. Kreate DXB will never disclose your personal information to anyone else except in the following rare circumstances: (a) if required by law or legal process, or (b) with your explicit consent.
We also do not store or process your information beyond what is necessary for the meeting or service you requested. In practice, this means once your meeting is over (and if you do not proceed to become a client), we do not retain your personal details except as needed for routine record-keeping or to comply with any legal obligations. Any optional information you provided is used only to tailor our interaction and is not utilized for any other purpose.
Legal Basis for Processing
If you are located in the European Union (EU) or a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, our processing of your personal information is based on the following legal grounds:
Consent: By voluntarily providing your information through our Calendly booking form or other means, you consent to our use of your personal data for the specific purpose of scheduling and holding a meeting with you.
Contractual Necessity: If our interaction leads to a client relationship, we will process your information as necessary to perform the services you request (i.e., to fulfill our contract with you).
Legitimate Interests: We may process minimal contact details to follow up on your meeting request or inquiry, as we have a legitimate interest in responding to potential clients and discussing our services. We ensure that this processing is not intrusive and respects your privacy rights.
Kreate DXB does not engage in any automated decision-making or profiling with your data.
Data Retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. This means:
If you book a meeting but do not become a client, we will retain your name, email, and any meeting notes only until the meeting has occurred and any necessary follow-up is completed. We will not retain your information long-term if there is no ongoing relationship.
If you become a client of Kreate DXB, we will retain your personal information for the duration of our professional relationship. This allows us to effectively communicate with you and deliver our services. Once our partnership or project is completed, we will retain only the information required for administrative or legal purposes (for example, records of transactions for accounting, or information needed to comply with legal obligations), and we will securely delete any personal data that is no longer needed.
In any case, you can request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below), and we will accommodate such requests in accordance with applicable law.
We periodically review the data we hold and erase or anonymize personal information when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Your Rights
Even though Kreate DXB collects very limited personal data, we want to ensure you have full control over your information. Subject to applicable laws (such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UAE data protection laws), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of any personal information we may hold about you and to obtain information about how we process it.
Right to Rectification: If any of your information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct or update it.
Right to Erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data. If you decide you no longer want us to have your information (for example, after your meeting or after our business together concludes), you have the right to ask that we erase it. We will honor this request provided we do not have a legal obligation to retain the data.
Right to Restrict or Object: You have the right to object to or request we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances. For instance, you may object to us holding your data at all if you are not going to use our services, or restrict us from using optional information you provided.
Right to Data Portability: If applicable, you can request a copy of your data in a common machine-readable format. (Given the minimal data we hold, this would typically just be your contact information that you provided.)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us (see Contact Us at the end of this Policy). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
If you are an EU resident and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal data, you also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority. However, since we process very little data directly, we encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concerns.
Third-Party Tools: Calendly Scheduling
We use a third-party scheduling service called Calendly to facilitate booking of meetings. Calendly, LLC is a U.S.-based company that provides the online calendar and booking interface embedded on our site. When you enter your information into the Calendly scheduling form on our website, that data is transmitted directly to Calendly's systems. Calendly collects and stores that information on our behalf so that it can manage the appointment (for example, sending you confirmation emails and reminders).
How Calendly Handles Your Data: Calendly is a trusted service provider, and we have ensured that using Calendly for scheduling is compliant with privacy regulations. According to Calendly’s policies, all data entered into their scheduling system is handled securely and confidentially, and Calendly employs encryption and other safeguards to protect your information both in transit and at resthelp.calendly.com. Calendly is also GDPR-compliant, meaning it adheres to the strict data protection standards required by European lawhelp.calendly.com. We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with Calendly, which means Calendly only processes your data under our instructions and for our scheduling purposes.
No Additional Tracking: The Calendly embed on our site is essentially an iframe to Calendly’s service. We do not use any analytics or tracking cookies on our website, and to the best of our knowledge Calendly’s widget does not deploy any cookies for marketing or unrelated tracking purposes when you use it. (Calendly may use functional cookies for things like loading the calendar or preventing double-booking, but no advertising or analytics cookies are used through our embed.)
We encourage you to review Calendly’s own Privacy Policy if you want more details on how they manage the information you provide when scheduling. (You can find Calendly’s Privacy Notice on their official website.) Rest assured that any data you input via the Calendly form is used strictly for scheduling and managing your meeting with Kreate DXB.
Data Security
Kreate DXB takes security seriously. Although we do not host your personal data on our own website servers (since all scheduling data is handled via Calendly), we implement appropriate measures to protect any personal information we do handle. This includes limiting access to your information only to team members who need it to conduct the meeting or provide services to you. Our business devices and accounts are protected with passwords and other best practices to prevent unauthorized access.
Calendly, as our scheduling provider, maintains high security standards for the data it processes. Data transmitted through our Calendly booking form is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS) in transit, and Calendly also encrypts stored data on their servershelp.calendly.com to safeguard it. While we rely on Calendly’s security protocols for the information you submit there, we also ensure that any copies of your information we access (for example, in meeting notification emails or Calendly’s dashboard) are kept confidential.
Despite these measures, it's important to understand that no method of transmitting or storing data is 100% secure. However, we and our third-party partners (like Calendly) strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information. We will also notify you in line with applicable laws if we ever become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy and any privacy disputes or issues will be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. By providing us with your information or using our site, you acknowledge that your information may be subject to these local laws.
If any dispute arises regarding our privacy practices, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. We will, of course, make every effort to resolve any privacy concerns amicably and swiftly, consistent with the principles outlined in this Policy.
